+ + 22-01-2010 - INTERACTIVE ON ECOBUILD 2010 + + |
Those familiar with interActive (Flue Systems) Limited will know our strengths as leading suppliers of flue, air-inlet and related boiler parts to OEM’s in the heating industry. Now part of the M&G Group we wish to continue to strengthen our position in the UK by offering a more diverse range of products.
For Ecobuild 2010 we will display products including HB+, a pre-calculated Balanced Air Distribution System for use with HRV units supplied and/or manufactured by other OEM’s. The system is installer and maintenance friendly. Semi-rigid ducting and joints that use a patented sealed locking connector means it is easy to fit and has fewer components than systems using metal ducting.
For Housing Associations, landlords and installers alike, we are proud to introduce IN>2>OUT which is a patented Flue Sealing Accessory from Soguard. IN>2>OUT allows individual balanced flues to be installed totally from inside the building; thus being ideally suited for multi-storey dwellings. Not only will the flue be secure with appropriate external wall seal in-place, but the end result gives a superior weather-seal too. The product is ideally suited where external access to the building is restricted, or where the cost of providing external scaffolding/access to the building is prohibitive. IN>2>OUT keeps operatives safely inside the building and allows installation to continue during inclement weather.
Keeping true to our roots, Mini-Flex demonstrates some of the diverse ways in which OEM’s for domestic boilers can utilise a small diameter flexible flue liner inside an existing chimney. Similarly those that wish to take advantage of PP Cascade, Concentric Flexible Lining, or Shared Chimney Lining systems will be equally catered for by new additions the range.

+ + 24-06-2008 - DTA DOCUMENTS FOR FRANCE + + |
In the French market all flue systems have to be approved in accordance with CE standards EN 1856-1 or EN 14471. In general these EN standards do not mention anything about specific installation methods. Therefore the French Government decided to supplement a document to the system which provides installers and architects with a clear idea about the installation methods and use. The installation methods of the “Ligne interActive” flue systems are registered per product group in the document DTA (Document Technique d’Apllication). interActive received new DTA_documents from the institute CSTB.
From this moment you will be able to download the DTA_documents through our website. If you require more detailed information please contact our sales force. |

+ + 16-03-2007 - INTERACTIVE TAKES QUALITY TO THE NEXT LEVEL + + |
Since January 2007 interActive uses a new generation of production lines. These lines are equipped with a pick to light system. This pick to light system ensures that the assembly is done in a preset order and that all components have been used.
The pick to light system works with sensors and lights. The lights tell you which components need to be used. The sensors registers of these components have been used. When a part is forgotten a siren will sound when the product is moved to the next station. The light of the forgotten part will keep on burning so that the operator can see which part is forgotten.
Software makes it possible to choose which sensors are active. This makes the assembly of a large diversity of products on this line possible. The software also registers the productivity of the line.
With the change to the pick to light system we also changed the way of producing products. In the new system an operator can not work on more then one product at the time. After finishing this one product the system will reset (all the lights will be turned on again) and the next product can be made. The complete line is build of separate workstations which work this way and which can be switched on or off depending on the product made.

+ + 01-12-2006 - QUALITY IN 2006 + + |
In 2006 interActive has done some major investments in its quality system. These efforts have resulted in a rejection level of only 0.45% on the total deliveries of 2006. To achieve this kind of performance level a new system for shipping audits was introduced at our production site. This system connects through SAP the shipping audit with stock level (and therefore shipment). If a pallet with products has not been checked production can not continue with the next pallet until the shipping audit is done. Therefore the pallet can not be send to our customers until it is audited. interActive is always looking for the best technical solutions (Poka Yoke) to prevent failures from happening.
In 2007 interActive will be actively working on further improving its quality system. The in 2006 realised improvements will be evaluated and where necessary adjusted to further improve the quality of the products. The goal for interActive: “continuous improvement”! |
| |
+ + 27-11-2006 - CE-CERTIFICATION UP TO 250°C + + |
Starting from 01.11.2006 the interActive CE-Certification of stainless steel and aluminium flue systems will be extended from maximum 200°C to maximum 250°C.
The new qualifications will then be:
Stainless steel
T250-P1-D-Vm-L50045-O(50) for single wall systems
T250-P1-D-Vm-L50045-O(0) for concentric systems
Aluminium
T250-P1-W-Vm-L13150-O(50) for single wall systems
T250-P1-W-Vm-L13150-O(0) for concentric systems
Because of increasing market demands, interActive decided to take this step. The according tests are already done, so that there are now new and more applications possible with the approved interActive systems. |

+ + 06-11-2006 - ROOF TERMINAL + + |
interActive is known for its innovative solutions and developments. In this light the new generation of roof terminals fits perfectly. It consists of a flue tube which is connected to the terminal hood by means of a click. In this connection a seal is being placed, which assures the gas tightness. This connection can also be found in the well proven accessories.
When the market demands an approved roof terminal, for instance according to the requirements from KIWA (formerly Gastec), it can be equipped with an additional piece. This part can be clicked on top of the roof terminal.
The result is a universal applicable roof terminal.

+ + 06-11-2006 - LEGAL MERGER & NEW HOMEPAGE URL + + |
The interActive group consisted of three Dutch companies so far, in particular: interActive Assets B.V., interActive holding bv and interActive bouwprodukten bv. Additional there are two sales offices in Germany and the UK. These three companies were united in the new interActive B.V. through a legal merger. All existing arrangements, agreement and contracts were transferred accordingly. Existing persons to turn to and contacts, especially with both sales offices interActive Frischluft- und Abgassysteme GmbH and interActive (Flue Systems) Ltd, are not affected.
In the course of this merger a change of the homepage domain is connected. www.interactiveholding.com will remain for a reasonable period of time. Effective immediately, the website of the interActive group is attainable under the new URL:

+ + 02-10-2006 - NEW PACKAGING + + |
New packaging for the Axioma roof terminal. The cardboard box of the eccentric roof terminal has got a new face. On one long side of the box the installation manual for this roof terminal is printed in Dutch and French language. The print on the short side of the box is even improved. Now, one can easily identify whether e.g. the box contains a roof terminal for condensing (HR) or non-condensing application (VR), or whether the flue material of this roof terminal is aluminium or stainless steel.
Of course also the required quality labels of CE, Gastec Qa and Komo clearly recognizable. More detailed information every end-user can find on the interActive website which is also named on the box.

+ + 02-10-2006 - TEST LABORATORY FOR CERTIFICATION OF FLUES + + |
Since approximate a half year interActive has availability of unrestricted use of the test laboratory within the Muelink & Grol Group where flue systems can be tested concerning their suitability.
For introduction of new boilers, extension of existing boilers with new flue systems or a technical change of the existing flue system a calculation will not really show suitability. The real maximum length or dimension of a flue system can just be clarified by testing it together with the boiler.
Besides interActive is able to do wind,- rain or ice test at new developed terminal constructions in this laboratory. If, during these tests, the construction shows to be insufficient, the responsible development engineers are able to correct things immediately. By this the necessary design of the terminal construction can be determinate without any loss of time.
Further interactive offers this facility for making system certifications like Zulassung/CE marking for Boilers together with flue systems. In the same way tests can be done for CE certification of flue systems which are developed by a customer. These tests then will be done under supervision of a official institution like Gastec or German TÜV. |

+ + 14-09-2006 - NEW LOGISTIC SYSTEM + + |
Since July 2006, interActive has redesigned and automated its internal logistic system. Besides implementing efficient production methods, interActive has also adjusted the supply channels to the production lines. The new internal automated system takes care of a precise and optimal supply to the production lines. The new system is currently being implemented.
The stock forecast from the production lines will be automatically processed by the SAP-system and forwarded as a pick-order to the terminals mounted on the forklifts. The state of the art forklifts are equipped with computer systems and barcode scanners. The warehouse employee can; with help of the barcode scanner, fulfil the pick-orders and take care of an in-time delivery to the production lines. This new working method gives interActive a better overview of its logistic activities and guarantees a continuous control over stock levels. interActive is able to improve its delivery performance further on, so its customers will have optimal benefits. |

+ + 01-08-2006 - FACTORY LAYOUT + + |
Due to the constant increase in demand for the products of interActive the layout of the plant in Didam has been reengineered by a student of the university of Arnhem.
The aim of this project was to increase the number of assembly lines in the plant with minimal 3 lines. After examining the situation, interviewing the supervisors and employees the result was 4 extra lines. The investment for these lines was approved by the managing director and the lines will be implemented in june and july.
Before the start of the heating seasons the capacity of the plant is increased with 20% so there will be an significant increase in deliveries possible. This will make the customers of interActive successful on the market so also interActive.
